Mocha Roll Cake

I have to admit, baking is not easy.  I still dream of baking a beautiful cake someday but I don't have the patience to perfect decorating one for now.  I've always liked rolled cakes but for the longest time I feared baking cakes.  I started learning to bake rolled cakes about 2 yrs. ago and it took me about 5 times to get it right.  I am now almost always expected to make a roll cake in every family event.  It is not as time consuming but being able to not crack/split the cake after rolling it is still a challenge.  I love coffee so I almost always make the mocha flavor.  I use 2 shots of espresso for the cake.  Drip coffee won't really do since the chocolate flavor would over power the coffee. 

I made 2 roll cakes yesterday for today's family get together.  One is chocolate roll for the kids and one mocha roll for the adults.
