Terrariums

Recently, I've been obsessing about terrariums.  I really didn't know about terrariums until very recently.  I did a lot of research online and bought a couple of vintage books from the 1970's.  I started with hanging air plants that are so cool.  I can't help but stare at them while I work.  I live in a condo so I really miss gardening when I lived in a house.

I saw this terrarium stand about 2 yrs. ago and I didn't know what it was used for.  When I first saw it, I imagined that I was going to use this it for displaying my handmade jewelry.  I didn't buy it because it was very pricey.  About a month ago, I got into terrariums and it still didn't click in my head that I saw the most beautiful terrarium/Wardian case 2 yrs. ago.  Two weeks ago, I went in the store (after being there 2 yrs ago) and to my surprise it was still there!  It was 20% off but I felt that it was still expensive.  I talked to the sales lady and she accepted my offer of $200 including tax (she had to call the owner).  I still think $200 is expensive but I'm justifying it as fate.  It was meant for me to buy it.

I've planted a pink Nerve plant, miniature palm, miniature African Violet, and another plant which I forgot the name :(

Here are some of my air plant terrariums:
